My Qualifications

During my annual physical, the phlebotomist, while tying a wide elastic band around my arm, said, "This is going to be the least painful blood draw you've ever had."

I looked up and asked, "How can you say that?"

"Because I'm confident in my ability," she replied.

I'm confident in my ability too-as a coach and consultant - I know how to get results.

I'm asking you to invest in yourself, Because of that, it's important that you know I am a skilled and capable guide on your journey to transformation. The credentials listed below provide a level of context to my ability to serve you.

Personal and Professional Experience

I've had enough challenging experiences to humble me: marriage, divorce, single parenting, decades of recovery, loss and grief to name a few. Layer that with experience as a teacher and counselor, add close to 20 years as a certified life coach and that's quite a recipe. These personal and professional experiences bring depth and context to my work, but it's not the whole picture.

Education and Training

I earned a BA in Human Services Planning, an M.ED in Education, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in counseling while raising three children. I hold multiple certifications as a Master Certified Life Coach from The Ford Institute of Integrative Coaching at JFK University, certification from The Life Coach School and from Crossroads Recovery Coaching.

I have been a client as well as a coach. I will never ask you to go somewhere I have not either been myself or wouldn't be willing to go with you. Let's talk.
